Moving an office is not the same job as moving a house. The deadlines are tighter, the kit is more expensive, and there is a room full of people waiting to log back in on Monday morning. Bearded Bros has been handling office removals in Brighton, across Sussex and out to the rest of the UK since 2013, with around twenty trained team members and a full fleet of vans and trucks. We plan the move with you in advance, label everything in a way that makes sense at the other end, and get your team back online without a wasted afternoon.

A good office move is mostly decided before a single box is loaded. We start with a walk-through, either in person or on a video call, and we agree what is going, what is being replaced, and what needs to be live first at the new premises. From that we build a plan: which floor empties first, which IT kit travels last, who is on site at each end, and what can be packed the night before. By the time the vans pull up, the surprises have already been handled.
We move single-room studios, small offices above shops in the North Laine, mid-sized professional firms across Hove and Lewes, and larger workplaces relocating between business parks. The job scales: a four-person studio might need one van and half a day, while a forty-desk floor will take a coordinated team across two or three vehicles. We will tell you honestly which side of that line your move sits on.

A standard office removal with us covers the survey and plan, the packing crates and labels, the loading and transport, careful unloading at the destination and a basic reset of the furniture so the space is usable. Dismantle and reassemble of desks and storage units is available where needed, and we can stagger the work into evenings or weekends so trading hours are not disrupted. Specialist items, like server racks, safes and oversized boards, get flagged early so we bring the right kit and the right cover.
The flow is the same whether the move is across town or across the country: free quote, on-site or video survey, a written plan with timings, packing day (often the day before), move day with a lead on site at both ends, and a follow-up to make sure nothing was missed. You will have a single point of contact from quote through to handover, so nobody is chasing three different inboxes on the morning of the move.
Good labelling is the difference between a tidy first morning and a week of "where did the printer cables go?" We supply colour-coded labels keyed to a floor plan of the new office, so every crate has a destination room rather than a vague "IT" sticker. Reusable plastic crates are available to hire as a tidier alternative to cardboard, and if you would rather pack yourselves we can supply boxes, tape, bubble wrap and wardrobe boxes from the box shop.
Lease overlaps, refits and phased moves rarely line up neatly. We have container self-storage at our Brighton site (full or half containers, 24/7 CCTV, weekday plus Saturday-morning access) and longer-term crated storage at Newhaven for kit you do not need to touch every week. If you need somewhere for a hundred chairs to live for two weeks while the new floor is laid, that is a normal request, not a problem.

We are based in Brighton and most of our office work happens locally. For postcode-level detail and case studies on commercial relocations in the city, see our dedicated page on office removals in Brighton. From the depot we cover the rest of East and West Sussex routinely, and we run UK-wide moves whenever a Sussex business is relocating further afield. Serving Brighton and beyond for over 10 years means we know the routes, the loading restrictions and the people who answer the phone at the other end.
