We are Bearded Bros, a Sussex removals firm based off Springfield Road in Brighton, BN1 6DG. We have been running removals in Peacehaven and right along the South Coast Road since 2013, and our crew has handled over 10,000 moves in the last five years. Bearded Bros has been trading since 2013, founded by two childhood friends who started with one van and grew the business by word of mouth. Over a decade later we are running a fleet of vans and trucks out of our Brighton depot, with around twenty trained crew, a Newhaven crated-storage site and a self-storage facility on Springfield Road. We have served Peacehaven customers since the early days because Peacehaven is part of our home patch.

We run removals across Peacehaven and the surrounding East Sussex area, including Newhaven, Saltdean, Rottingdean, Telscombe Cliffs, and Brighton. We also move customers from Peacehaven to anywhere in the UK on a regular basis.
If you would rather pack yourself, we sell everything you need from our online shop: standard, large and extra-large boxes, bubble wrap, tape, furniture covers and wardrobe boxes. We also hire out reusable plastic crates as a sustainable option that costs less than buying cardboard for a one-off move.
If you would rather hand the packing to us, we can do that too. Our crew will turn up with materials, pack the house room by room, label every box by zone, and unpack at the other end if you book that in.

The reviews come back to the same handful of points. The crew is friendly and easy to have in the house on a tense day. The price quoted is the price paid. Furniture is wrapped properly and arrives in the same condition it left. And if something does go sideways, we sort it without making it your problem.
We also know that a Peacehaven move often connects to a wider Sussex move (downsizing from Brighton, upsizing to a quieter coast spot, helping a parent move closer). We are set up for both ends of that journey because we work the whole region every day.
Completion dates slip. It happens to roughly a third of our customers. If your sale completes on a Friday and your new place is not ready until the following Wednesday, the load has to live somewhere safe in between.
We can take your whole move straight into our self-storage site at 146-148 Springfield Road in Brighton, in full or half containers (150 sq ft or 75 sq ft), with 24/7 CCTV and weekday plus Saturday morning access. For longer gaps we have a crated facility in Newhaven, 250 cubic feet per crate, accessed by appointment. The Newhaven option is cheaper if you are going to be in temporary accommodation for a few months.

We're based in Brighton and our self-storage site is on Springfield Road, but our removals teams cover the whole of East Sussex and West Sussex on a daily basis. That includes Brighton, Hove, Lewes, Newhaven, Shoreham-by-Sea, Worthing, Eastbourne, Seaford, Burgess Hill, Haywards Heath, Crawley and the surrounding villages.
For longer-distance moves, we go UK-wide. Our trucks regularly run up to London, the Home Counties and the South West, and we've moved customers as far as Scotland. The storage stays in Brighton or Newhaven, but we'll deliver wherever you've ended up.
