We're Bearded Bros, a Brighton removals firm based off Springfield Road in BN1. We've been moving people across the city, the wider Sussex area and the rest of the UK since 2013, and we've handled over 10,000 moves in the last five years. Our crew is trained in-house, our vans and trucks are kept maintained, and most of the team has been with us long enough to know the difference between a Kemptown loading window and a Hove side-street that won't take a Luton.
Most of our work comes through word of mouth and reviews. The job is to get you out of one place and into another without the drama. That's what "no fuss" actually means to us, and it's what our customers keep saying back to us.
If you're moving house in Brighton, Hove or anywhere across East and West Sussex, we can run the whole job for you. That covers a single bed in a campervan to a four-bed family home with garage clear-out, garden furniture and a shed full of bikes. We do full pack-and-move services if you want to hand the boxing up to us, and we can dismantle and reassemble furniture on the day so the sofa actually fits round your new staircase.
The Brighton terraces have a personality of their own. Steep hallways in Hanover, narrow Regency staircases in Kemptown, off-street parking that disappears the moment you need it in Seven Dials. We plan around all of that. If we know there's a controlled parking zone or a permit needed, we'll flag it during the quote so the day itself runs cleanly.

Office moves in Brighton bring a different set of headaches: kit you can't lose, IT that needs to be live again on Monday morning, and a landlord who wants the keys back on time. We plan office moves around your operating hours, including evening and weekend slots, so the team isn't standing around watching us carry desks.
We pack the workstations, label by zone, lift the heavy shared kit, and put it all back together at the new site. We've moved studios in the North Laine, professional services up by the station and warehouse units off Lewes Road, so we know what it takes to hit a deadline without scratching the floors on the way out.

Roughly a third of our customers need storage between moves. Sale completes on Friday, new place is the following Wednesday, and that gap has to live somewhere. We can take your whole load straight into our Brighton self-storage site at 146-148 Springfield Road, near London Road station, or into our longer-term crated facility in Newhaven if you're going to be in temporary accommodation for a few months.
Self-storage is in full or half containers (150 sq ft or 75 sq ft), with 24/7 CCTV and weekday plus Saturday-morning access. The crated option is by appointment, 250 cubic feet per crate, and works out cheaper if you don't need to get into your stuff often.
