Bearded Bros is a Brighton-based removals and storage team covering the whole of East Sussex, from the city itself out to the coast and up into the Weald. We've been doing this since 2013, and East Sussex is where most of our work happens. Whether you're moving within Brighton, along the coast to Peacehaven, or further out to Lewes, the same trained crew and the same fleet turns up.
What East Sussex coverage actually means
Brighton and Hove are home turf. This is where we're based, where most of our jobs happen, and where our vans are on the road most days of the week. If you're moving here, you're getting a local team that knows the streets, the parking, and the flats above the shops on the seafront.
The coastal towns just along from us, Peacehaven, Rottingdean, Saltdean, Portslade, Southwick and Shoreham-by-Sea, are routine runs. We're in and out of these areas so regularly that a move here is no different to one in Brighton itself: same crew, same day rates, same availability.
Lewes and the towns further into East Sussex are scheduled runs rather than daily ones. We still cover them properly, same trained team, same vehicles, same standard of care, but we'll usually plan the day around it rather than fitting it in on the fly. We don't offer international or overseas removals. Everything we do is UK-based, with East Sussex as our core patch and the rest of the country covered from here.

Removals and storage across East Sussex
For removals and storage East Sussex customers can rely on from one team, both of our storage sites sit inside the county itself, not somewhere we've bolted on from outside it.
Springfield Road, Brighton is our self-storage site, with full containers (150 sq ft) and half containers (75 sq ft) available, 24/7 CCTV throughout.
Newhaven is home to our longer-term crated storage, at 250 cubic feet per crate. Newhaven is itself an East Sussex town along the coast from Brighton, so it's covered by the same local team as the rest of this page, not a separate operation.

What our removals service covers
Our removals service covers the full range of domestic and office removals work across East Sussex, sized to the job rather than a one-size van:
- Single items and part loads, where a full removal isn't needed
- Flat and house moves, local within the county or between East Sussex towns
- Office relocations
- Longer UK-wide runs for anyone moving out of the area
Packing is offered at whatever level suits the move:
- Full professional pack, handled the day before or the morning of the move
- Partial pack, where we take the fragile and awkward items and you do the rest
- DIY, with boxes, tape, bubble wrap and wardrobe boxes available from the box shop
- Furniture dismantling and reassembly on request, covering most flatpack and bed frames
- Reusable crates available to hire as an alternative to cardboard
All of this runs from our own fleet based in Brighton, with a team of around twenty trained staff and over 10,000 moves completed in the last five years.

Yes. Brighton and Hove are our base and our busiest area, the coastal towns nearby are routine daily runs, and the further reaches of East Sussex are covered as scheduled jobs. Tell us your postcode at the quote stage and we'll confirm timing.
Newhaven is part of the same East Sussex operation, not a separate add-on. It's where our crated storage facility sits, along the coast from our Brighton depot, and it's covered by the same removals team as the rest of the county.
